Throughout its history, the Cathedral of Joy has celebrated God's creation in the midst of our worship of the Creator. The Cathedral campus is perhaps one of the most beautiful spots in the Tri-Cities with acres of natural garden paths enveloped by the peaceful sounds of flowing water. Countless people have found our campus to be a place of comfort in some of the most tender moments of their lives.
At the center of our creation-based campus is the Cathedral Waterfall, the latest and most dramatic addition to the beautiful campus God has blessed us with. In addition to gaining a spectacular view of the waterfall and our brilliant blue Tri-City sky, worshipers are invited each week at the Cathedral to hear and feel the thunder of the falls as the sanctuary's two 20-foot glass doors open.
Funds and pledges for the Cathedral Waterfall were raised on Miracle Day, December 4, 2005. Those funds also enabled us to adopt two more extremely poor Honduran villages. (We have adopted five to date and are currently looking to adopt our sixth!)
Surrounding the waterfall and sanctuary are the Cathedral Prayer Gardens, which have been slowly developed over the past quarter of a century. We expect this work to continue into the distant future as Cathedral volunteers pour their hearts into making our grounds into a place of healing and great natural beauty.
